Partnerships
WTG is partnering with people and waste processing industries in Uganda to implement comprehensive country-wide recycling program as well as educational materials & resources, presentations, and trainings.
Community Partnerships
WTG is collecting waste from more than 50 communities. We work with people living under the poverty line by offering them employment to collect recyclable materials that are damped within their communities. However, WTG aims to go beyond the manual collection of recyclable waste to building municipal plants with multiple recycling streams that can serve not only as an employer but also as well as a catalyst for socio economic change in communities across Uganda and Africa as a whole. We strongly believe that recycling can be a means to innovate, employ, educate and empower.
